THE TERRITORY
Currentclan territory is located in a small valley-like area, and is overall very lush and fairly heavily forested. However, it can be fairly treacherous for those unfamiliar with the area. A deep, fast flowing river cuts through the center of the territory, though there are several places where the crossing is safe, if you know where to look
CENTRAL CLIFFCLAN
CLIFFCLAN CAMP
This is where the Cliffclan cats make their home. Situated in a sandy alcove on the edge of a crystal clear lake, the camp is split into two levels in case of a flood. Surrounded by cliffs to the north, the camp is protected from cold northerly winds. With the cliffs curved around one side, and the lake around the other side, the camp is well defended from attacks.
TRAINING SANDS
The training sands are a multi-terrain area where apprentices are trained battle moves and hunting techniques. The area is mostly sandy ground. There's a practice cliff, a river bank, along with a forested area for all terrain training.
FISHING ROCKS
A group of rocks that jut out into the lake. It's the perfect spot to go fishing, though some of the lazier warriors sometimes go there to sun themselves away from the disapproving gaze of their clanmates.
SOUTH-EAST CLIFFCLAN
OLD REDWOOD
A very large tree at the center of a clearing. Cliffclan's original camp before they found their home by the cliffs. Now home to a family of raccoons
GREENWATER MARSH
An unexplored marsh; who knows what lies in the boggy land just off the shore of the lake.
SOUTH-WEST CLIFFCLAN
GRASSLAND
The Grasslands is a very large open field filled with tall grasses and low shrubs. A great hunting area, quail and pheasant are abundant here, as are rabbits and field mice.
ADDER HILLS
The rocky foothills of the southern mountain ranges. Adder snakes are abundant here, so cats tend to avoid them for fear of getting bitten.
NORTH-EAST CLIFFCLAN
THE DEADPLACE
An odd, dead patch of forest surrounded by lush greenery. No one knows why nothing grows in this area, or why the ground is so dry and cracked, despite being right next to a water-filled bog. A small patch of wasteland in the otherwise lush Cliffclan terrirtoy.
BADGER SET
A small group of hills where a family of badgers makes their home- a spot best avoided. These badgers tend to leave the cats alone if given a wide enough berth.
NORTH-EAST CLIFFCLAN
FOX DEN
The home of a particularly nasty group of foxes. They tend to stay along the western border and usually only venture deeper into the territory in leaf-bare when prey gets scarce.
THE MOON MOTH RUINS
A hallowed ground to all Cliffclan cats. Discovered by the medicine cat Mothwatcher (renamed after finding the ruins), this is the place where the cats connect with their ancestors. In what appears to be the ruins of an old two-leg nest, grows a knobby tree with silver leaves. The place is very odd; as soon as you step into the ruins, it is always significantly warmer than the surrounding area. Thousands of silvery-white moths make their home in the ruins, and when one lands on the nose of a cat, in the blink of an eye they are surrounded by the starry meadows of Starclan territory.
